Clear progress in test loss against Heffingen
Updated: Sep 3, 2020
In front of 40 spectators who respected the Covid rules, Sparta had trouble in the first quarter to find rhythm. After a 8-0 run of Heffingen to start, our team had some nice ball movement and got some easy fastbreak points. Every player got his chance from the coaching staff to show what he can give to the team.
Ball movement and organization war already a lot better compared to last week's game against Bascharage. Rebounding was still a problem with our 2 professional players still absent (Aundrey Jackson will arrive next week).
At halftime, Sparta led by one. In second half, both teams tried a lot of different rotations and so, there were a lot op ups and downs on both sides.
At the end, Heffingen wins 74-66. Next game will be on Friday against Walferdange.
Points for Sparta: Koster 14, P Arendt 13, Verbeelen 10, Feipel 9, Wolff 6, Schomer 4, Logelin 2, Schwartz 2, Savic 0, Stein 0, Giannopoulos, M Arendt 0
